October 1, 1940 - January 30, 2020

A Celebration of Life Service for Jerry L. Janzen age 79 of Enid will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Emmanuel Enid with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. A private family burial will be before the service in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jerry was born October 1, 1940 in Fairview, OK to Clarence and Marlene (Cornelsen) Janzen and passed away January 30, 2020 in The Commons. He attended grade school in Fairview, OK and moved to Enid where he graduated from Enid High. He married Loretta Buller on December 29, 1959 in Enid. In 1960 he started his career working at Stuart Pontiac, Cadillac, Barber Pontiac, Central Automotive, Finnegan-Collins Lincoln Mercury. In 1967 Jerry and his father Clarence started Janzen Olds and later added GMC and Jeep. In 1990, Jerry and Dale purchased the Toyota and Cadillac dealership in Stillwater which is now Janzen Toyota. He served as President of OADA and President of the Briggs Lions Club. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Enid. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family, friends and traveling. He also enjoyed flying his airplane and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife Loretta of Enid; daughters; Diane Rempel and husband Ron, Michele Trybus and husband Brian, 7 grandchildren; Grant Rempel and wife Chelsea and Stuart Rempel and wife Jhosy, Conrad, Tiffany, and Brian, great grandson, Brooks Rempel, sister in law Helga Janzen, nephew, Juergen and wife Lorrie, and niece, Sabine and numerous other family members.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dale Janzen.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds. Condolences may be made online and the service may be viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
