The funeral service for Alice Eileen Janzen, 94, Enid, is 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Al McVety officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family is 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday evening, Feb. 9, 2017, at the funeral home.

Alice was born on Feb. 23, 1922, in Hillsboro, Kan. to Daniel B. Schmidt and Anna Schmidt, and passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Enid. Alice attended school in Kansas. On March 31, 1940, she married Adolf Janzen in Goessel, Kan. They moved to Enid in 1957. She was employed at several drugstores in Enid. She loved working in her garden flowers, volunteering and visiting shut-ins. She was a member of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband Adolf in 2013; her parents, four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Janzen of Appleton, Wis.; son Gary Janzen and wife Lois of Enid; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Jane Janzen.

Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church.
