Garber – Graveside services for Mrs. Bruno (Louise) Janssen, 87, who died Monday morning in an Enid hospital following a short illness, will be conducted at 2:30 PM Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rev. Thomas Moore will officiate at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Garber.

Born in Clarinda, Iowa, Mrs. Janssen grew up in that area and married Bruno Janssen on December 28, 1904. They made their home in that community until moving to Oklahoma in 1908. They settled on a farm one mile south and one a half miles west of Garber. In 1936, they moved into Garber.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 1:30 PM Wednesday. The casket will not be open at the services.

Survivors include one daughter, Hannah Janssen, Garber; two sons, Eldo, Holyrood, Kansas, and Chester, Waukomis; one sister, Mrs. Anna Miller, Eugene, Oregon; two brothers, Ben Goecker and U. J. Goecker, Clarinda, Iowa, and six grandchildren.
