© Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma February 2006 February 5, 1918 ~ February 19, 2006 The funeral for Henry Warder Hutton, 88, of Enid will be 11 am Thursday in the chapel of First United Methodist Church. The Rev David Wiggs will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. He was born February 5, 1918, in Beaver County to Henry Warder and Anna Faye Blankenship Hutton and died Sunday, February 19, 2006, at Methodist Home, Enid. His family moved to Enid in 1922. He graduated from Enid High School in 1935, and from Enid Business College in 1937. His first position was at Security Bank. He later worked for Gold Spot Dairy. He married Winifred Berry September 6, 1941. He entered the Army 41 st Infantry Division in 1943, serving in World War II. He served in the Pacific area including the Philippines, Guinea and Japan. When he returned home to Enid, he was a purchasing agent and contracting agent at Vance Air Force Base. In 1959, he purchased Davis Paint, Wallpaper and Gift store in Blackwell, retiring in 1982. They moved back to Enid in 1997. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Enid, and Friendship Class. He was past president of retail division of United Fund board. He also was a member of Blackwell Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club. Surviving are his wife, Winnie of the home; three sisters, Phyllis Boehm of Enid, Faye Collins of Fairview and Carol Woods of Scottsdale, Arizona; and one brother, Eldon Hutton of Canton. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. |

The Reverend Susan Southall will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born November 25, 1916, in Grant County to John William and Mary Ellen Fletcher Berry and passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, in Enid. She married Warder Hutton September 6, 1941. She was a registered nurse at St Mary's Hospital for 23 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by nieces and nephews, David Woods, Denise Wedaphol, Sandra Srogoncik, Brent Collins, Lyn Collins, Terry Collins, Jeff Hutton, Pamela Hutton, Betty Goddard, Linda Mace, Mary Ellen Israel and Velma Mae Boyd. She is preceded in death by her husband. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds. © Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma September 18, 2008 March 25, 1928 ~ September 9, 2008 A funeral service for Mary Frances Freeman Hutton, 80, of Enid, will be 10 am Friday, Septewmber 12, 2008, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Dr Sheila Combs-Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Mary was born March 25, 1928, to Earl and Emma Freeman in Enid, Okla., and died peacefully at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, with her daughter and sisters by her side. She attended and graduated from Garber High School, and later Enid Business College. Mary married Lloyd Dale Hutton in 1947 in Breckinridge, Okla. Mary and Lloyd owned and operated Northwest Hearing Aid Center in Oklahoma City for 30 years. She was a licensed hearing aid dispenser. After retiring, they returned to Enid. Mary enjoyed reading, beautiful needle pointing, puzzles, and tending her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Mace of Enid; two grandsons, Ethan Mace and his wife, Susan of Missoula, Montana, and Greg Mace of Shawnee, Okla.,; two great grandchildren, Nick of Shawnee and Sadie of Missoula; two sisters and their husbands, Marcella and Roland Schroeder of Enid, and Naida and Jerry Miller of Pond Creek, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews who all think that "Aunt Mary" was the greatest. |
Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home Canton, Oklahoma November 12, 2013 April 7, 1932 ~ November 10, 2013 Funeral services for Shirley J. Hutton, 81, of Canton, OK will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13th, 2013 at the Canton Christian Church with Chaplain Dennis King officiating. Committal will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, OK under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Shirley was born on April 7th, 1932 in Enid, OK the only child of Carl and Myrtle Holter and departed this life on Sunday, November 10th, 2013 in her home in Canton, OK. She was a member of the Canton Christian Church and the Enid Child Study Club where she served a term as president. She married Eldon Hutton on September 12th, 1951. Shirley graduated from Enid high school in 1952 and attended 2 years at Enid business college. In 1968 Shirley and Eldon purchased a small bait shop and enlarged the business and developed the trailer park near Canton Lake which became known as Huttons Corner. After selling the bait shop Shirley missed visiting with the public and went to work at Dales Quick stop. Shirley ran Huttons Corner trailer park with Eldon until she was no longer able to. Shirley cared for Eldon and was his loving wife until his passing. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Eldon G Hutton and her parents. Survivors include her daughter Pam Hutton, of Canton OK, son Jeff Hutton and wife Laura of Fairview, OK, seven grandchildren, Brandi Brandly and her husband Brad of Canton OK, Angel Humbargar of Canton, OK, Tucker Andrews and his wife Amanda of Weatherford, OK, Sandee Lawrence of Cherokee, OK, Amanda Hutton of Seiling, OK, Kaylene Rivera and her husband Rico of Weatherford, OK, and Brittany Hutton of Eakley, OK. Ten great grandchildren, Dallas, Maegann and Adriann Brandly of Canton OK, Cole, Cade and Kenidi Humbargar of Canton OK, Hunter Dunaway of Connersville, Indiana, Brendan Hutton of Cherokee OK Austin Andrews of Weatherford OK and Berlin Hutton of Seiling OK. Hutton, 75, of Canton, OK will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 25, 2008 at Canton Christian Church with Steve Driskill officiating. Committal will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, OK under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Eldon was born on September 27, 1932 at Enid, OK the youngest of eight children to Henry and Anna [Blankenship] Hutton and departed this life on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Fairview, OK. He was a member of the Canton Christian Church and the American Legion. He married Shirley Holter on September 12, 1951. Eldon graduated from Enid High School in 1950 and attended 2 years at Enid Business College. He served 4 years in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In 1968 Eldon and Shirley purchased a small bait shop and enlarged the business and developed the trailer park near Canton Lake which became known as Hutton's Corner. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Freddie Hutton, Lloyd Hutton, and Warder Hutton; two sisters, Wana Schneider Lietzke and Faye Collins. Survivors include his wife Shirley of the home; daughter Pam Hutton of Enid, OK; son Jeff Hutton and wife Laura of Fairview, OK; seven grandchildren, Brandi Brandly and husband Brad of Canton, Angel Humbargar of Weatherford, Sandee Hutton of Woodward, Tucker Andrews of Canton, Amanda Hutton of Seiling, and Kaylene and Brittany Hutton of Fairview; eight great-grandchildren, Dallas, Maegann and Adriann Brandly of Canton, Cole, Cade and Kenidi Humbargar of Weatherford, Hunter Hutton and Brendan Hutton of Woodward; two sisters, Phyllis Boehm of Enid and Carol Woods of Scottsdale, AZ.
