Eula Mae [Peck] Hinderliter
October 12, 1926 ~ September 2, 2006


A private graveside service for Eula Mae Hinderliter will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. John McLemore will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born October 12, 1926, in Buffalo to Hubert and Ethel Holmes Peck and died Saturday, September 2, 2006, in Enid.

She graduated from high school in 1944.

She worked for a judge in Harper County during and after high school.

She taught in a one-room school near Buffalo.

She married Leon F. Hinderliter July 13, 1945, in Vancouver, Wash., where they lived until moving to Buffalo after his discharge from the service.

In 1967 they moved to Enid, and worked at Blakemore Brothers Food Store before leasing a meat market from Morris' Thrifty Wise Food Store.

They later owned and operated Hinderliter's Meat Market 13 years before retiring in 1984

She was a member of Eastern Star.

Surviving are her children, Betty Patterson of Edmond, Bert Hinderliter of Enid and Brenda Zwiefel of Carrier; two sisters, Opal Catlin of Buffalo and Doris Cummings of Norman; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Enid Shrine Transportation Fund.
