© Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma January 2025 October 16, 1925 ~ January 2, 2025 Jackson Rudolph Hermanski of Garber, OK passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home January 2, 2025, at the age of 99 on the same property where he was born October 16, 1925, to Frank Hermanski and Mary [Blaser] Hermanski. Jack spent his early years attending a country school a half mile down the road and playing with his lifelong friend and neighbor Eldon Gracy. Jack went on to Garber High School graduating in 1943. During his time at Garber, he was an active member of the FFA, which included a trip to the Kansas City Royal where he won Grand Champion Hog. Following high school Jack was drafted into the Army Corp of Engineers and was stationed in the state of Georgia. Jack married the love of his life, Louella Goodwin Hermanski, on August 6, 1950, which resulted in a joyous 64-year union. From this union they were blessed with three children, Alan, Brenda, and Rhonda. He was a hard worker and dedicated family man. His introduction to farming was with his father, Frank, as a young boy. This became his life-long profession and passion. He farmed first together with his brother Bud, and later with his son Alan. When his grandsons were old enough to work, Jack spent many hours training up and working with the next generation. While farming was his main profession, he also worked in the construction industry building houses at Vance Air Force Base and building bridges for Garfield County. In addition to work and family, Jack had a community mindset and made many meaningful contributions of his time and service. He served on the Hunter School Board, Garber Co-op Board, was a long-time active member of the Hunter United Methodist Church, and a member of the Garfield County Rural Rotatory Club. He was admired and respected by many people in the community, for his honest and loyal lifestyle. His witty sense of humor kept his family on their toes. Jack and Louella spent much time dancing as a couple and playing card games; he was an unbeatable checkers player. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Louella [Goodwin] Hermanski, his sisters Dorthy Sargent and Nadine Herbert [Emmanuel], his brother David "Bud" Hermanski, and his son David Alan Hermanski. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Christy Hermanski, grandson Brent Hermanski, granddaughter Suzanne Severin [Ralf] and their children Fletcher and Anika; his daughter Brenda Reinschmiedt, grandson Bryan Reinschmiedt [Ashley] and their children Tad, Ava, Jed, Met, Ari, and Ali; grandson Ben Reinschmiedt [Angie] and their children Addison, Ainslie, Braelyn, and Barron; grandson Jacob Reinschmiedt [Tiffany] and their children Anna and Wade; granddaughter Julie Ward [Ryan] and their children Kinsey, Rylee, and Ellie; daughter Rhonda Koch, grandson Keiffer Koch [Celina] and their son Kenton, and several other family members. Memorials are requested to be given to the Garber FFA Chapter or the Garber Volunteer Fire Department, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 6, 2025 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. © Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma September 2, 2014 April 9, 1928 ~ August 31, 2014 A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Louella Hermanski, 86, of Garber, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Linda Pope will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. The family will receive guests from 6-7 pm at the funeral home today, September 2. Louella passed away peacefully Sunday, August 31, 2014, with family by her side. She was born April 9, 1928, in Eakly, Okla., to parents Orval Goodwin and Opal Anne [Prather] Goodwin. She graduated from Alfalfa High School in 1946, then continued her education at Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Okla. She moved to Hunter, Okla., to take a position teaching fifth and sixth grade. It was during this time she met the love of her life, Jack Hermanski. They married August 6, 1950, and enjoyed 64 wonderful years together. She devoted her time to raising her family and supporting Jack in the farming activities. She also found time to dedicate many hours to several community organizations she enjoyed, some of which were Daughters of American Revolution, Colonial Dames CDXXIIC Century, Board of Directors of The Commons–The United Methodist Retirement Community and United Methodist Women, serving at local, district and conference levels. She also was a St Mary’s Hospital volunteer for 40 years, an active member of Hunter United Methodist Church and Garfield County Rural Rotary Club and served on the Board of the Public Library of Enid and Garfield County. More important than community activities to Louella was family. She enjoyed spending time with each new generation that came along. Her seven great-grandkids were a special blessing to Louella. She also spent many hours researching genealogy and family history. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Opal, and a baby brother. She is survived by her husband, Jack, of the home in Garber; son, Alan Hermanski and wife Christy of Garber; daughter, Brenda Reinschmiedt of Garber; daughter, Rhonda Koch of Valley Center, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Bryan Reinschmiedt and wife Ashley, Ben Reinschmiedt and wife Angie, Jacob Reinschmiedt and wife Tiffany, all of Garber, Julie Ward and husband Ryan, of Guthrie, Brent Hermanski, of Garber, Suzanne Hermanski, of Kratie, Cambodia, and Keiffer Koch of La Quinta, California. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren, Tad, Ava, Jed, and Met Reinschmiedt, Addison and Ainslie Reinschmiedt, and Kinsey Ward; three sisters, Margaret Erwin, Nelda Garcia, and Alita Lamb; and one brother, Russell Goodwin. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association or Hunter United Methodist Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of funds. |

Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the funeral home. John was born November 24, 1928, in Shreveport, LA, to Edward P. and Helen [Moulton] Hermanski, and passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, in St Mary's Regional Hospital. John married Rae McCormick September 4, 1948, in Enid at the First Baptist Church. John graduated from Enid High School in 1947. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher in the children's department. He worked at Cromwell Press for over 70 years. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard for over ten years. John was an avid golfer and an avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan. He is survived by his wife Rae, sons, Steve Hermanski, Tom (Ronda) Hermanski; granddaughter Rochelle McPherrin and her sons William and Patrick; grandson John (Sarah) Hermanski; brother Jerry (Lynn) Hermanski; sisters, Rae (Terry) Decker, Jane (Charles) Chupco, Eva (John) Bumpus, and Jewell (Dale) Wingo; and several other family members. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard, and brothers, Edward and David. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Cancer Division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rae was born August 11, 1932 in Enid, Oklahoma to Thomas and Louella [Stevens] McCormick, and passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020. She married John Hermanski on September 4, 1948 in Enid at the First Baptist Church. They were married for 70 years prior to his passing in December 2018. She was the office manager for JC Penney's for almost 20 years before becoming a Mary Kay Consultant which she continued to do until her passing. Her main joy was her family; her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a special way of making each one feel as if they were her favorite. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by two sons, Steve Hermanski; Tom Hermanski and wife Ronda; three grandchildren, Kay Simmons; Rochelle McPherrin; John Hermanski and wife Sarah; three great-grandchildren, plus one due in October; as well as nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Rae is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Hermanski; son Richard; sister, Twilla Ruth; and two brothers, Otis and Donny McCormick. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. Hernamski, 48, will be at First Baptist Church on Monday, March 26, 2001 at 2:00 PM The Rev Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau Evans Funeral Home. He was born December 12, 1952 in Enid to John and Rae McCormick Hermanski and died Thursday evening March 22, 2001 in his home from an apparent heart attack. He attended school in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1971, and from Oklahoma State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology. He worked as a logging engineer for Atlas Wireline for 17 years. He joined the City of Enid's engineering department in 1992 as Engineering Project Manager where he was employed at the time of his death. On August 15, 1975 he married Sharon Booker in the First Baptist Church in Enid. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Meadowlake Golf Assosciation He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; his parents John and Rae Hermanski; two brothers, Steve Hermanski and his children, Rochelle and John Richard; Tom and his wife Ronda Hermanski, all of Enid; his father in law and mother in law Hollis and Jo Lee Booker; a brother in law Kevin Booker and his wife Pam and their son, Kyle, all of Enid. His grandparents preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made through Ladusau Evans Funeral Home or to the First Baptist Church. |
