Mary Louise Hartz Heitfeld
November 5, 1926 ~ May 18, 2016


The funeral service for Mary Louise Heitfeld will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastors Scott Whittenburg and Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home

Mary was born in Enid on November 5, 1926 to Valentin and Clara [Peter] Hartz and passed away May 18, 2016.

In 1946, she married Arthur Heitfeld and the couple farmed in the Breckinridge area making it their home.

Mary drove a Garber school bus for many years.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and was very dedicated to her farm and taking care of her family.

Mary loved her vegetable and flower gardens. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling with her family whenever she got the chance.

Mary is survived by children, Carolyn Sanford [Clyde]; Gene Heitfeld Jeanette]; Larry Heitfeld [April]; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorials may be made to Valir Hospice or Saint Paul's Lutheran Church with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
