Willie "Bill" Heinrich
March 9, 1915 ~ May 14, 2006


The funeral for Willie "Bill" Heinrich, 91, will be 2 pm Monday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Gay Cocheres will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born March 9, 1915, in Kingfisher County to Nicholas and Louise Barrett Grenz Heinrich and died Sunday, May 14, 2006, at Greenbrier Nursing Home.

He was raised in Kingfisher and Blaine counties and was a farmer.

He attended Liberty country school near Hitchcock and Emerson Junior High School in Enid.

He worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps camps during the early 1930s, helping build Roman Nose State Park, Falls Creek and Turner Falls.

He was drafted into the Army and served from 1945-1946 during World War II in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Following his discharge, he worked as an auto mechanic at Ford garage in Kingfisher, and in 1980 he retired from the city of Enid as a foreman for the water department after 25 years.

He married Averille A. Tice March 25, 1939, in Enid. They made their home in Blaine County, Kingfisher and Enid.

Surviving are his wife, Averille, of the home; one son, Bill J. Heinrich of Bethany; three daughters, Darlene Hitchcock of Belgium, Donna Crawford of Moore and Cheryl Parker of Oklahoma City; a sister, Esther Rainey of Mountain Home, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by twin sons, two sisters and five brothers

April 15, 1919 ~ October 30, 2011


Funeral service for Averille Heinrich will be 2 pm Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Averille, was born April 15, 1919, near Lacy, Okla., to John Moore and Elizabeth [Seebold] Tice, the second of 10 children.

She grew up in Blaine County near Okeene. She attended Prairie Dell country school and graduated from Okeene High School in 1937.

Averille passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011, in Enid at the age of 92 years, 6 months.

On March 25, 1939, Averille and Willie "Bill" Heinrich were married at Garfield County Courthouse, Enid. They were married over 67 years at the time of his death, May 14, 2006. They were blessed with six children, including twin sons who died at birth.

After Bill was discharged from the Army in 1946, they moved from the Okeene area to Kingfisher, where they remained for several years before moving to Enid in 1951.

Averille was a homemaker but also worked at Phillips University Bookstore, Doolittle Candy Factory and Marquise Studio as a photo retoucher before retiring in 1984.

She loved her family, enjoyed gardening, reading, watching TV and doing exercises with Jack LaLanne, sewing, crocheting, crafts, playing dominoes and scrabble.

Averille is survived by son, Bill Heinrich and wife Anita; daughters, Donna Crawford, Darlene Heinrich and Cheryl Parker and husband Ken; eight grandchildren, Darren and Jeff Allman, Alisa Blevins, Travis and Dallas Parker, Kyla Whitehead, Heather Bullard and Jessica Fabacher; 10 great grandchildren, Heather Mast-Allman, Elliott and Samantha Allman, Annalisa Blevins, Matthew and Zachary Parker, Maddie and Hank Bullard, Ryan Whitehead and Lilah Fabacher; sister, Betty Blunk and husband Carl; brothers, Joe Tice and Jack Tice; as well as special friends, Lottie Williams and JoAnn Comet.
