Loate Leland Hatfield
March 15, 1898 ~ December 4, 1968


Funeral services for Loate L. Hatfield, 70, 1810 E. Cherokee, will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Russell and Dr. Robert J. Smith in charge.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen.

Hatfield died Wednesday morning in a local hospital following an illness of three weeks.

He was born March 15, 1898 in Grant County near Wakita and came to Enid in 1935 from Caldwell, Kansas.

Hatfield had been a mail carrier for 36 years and had served in Medford and Caldwell before moving to Enid. He retired in 1965.

He was a member of the National Association of Retired Civil Service Employees; the Odd Fellows Lodge No 31, having worked through all the chairs of the Lodge, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He married the former Cora Walsh September 7, 1918, in Medford and she survives him.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs John [Ruth] Makar, Natchidoches, Louisiana, a son, Jack K. Hatfield, Tulsa; five grandchildren; two brothers, Nathan Hatfield, Madora, Kansas, and Ben Hatfield, Blackwell.

Mary Juanita [McClaflin] Hatfield
April 15, 1918 ~ April 14, 2007


The funeral for Mary “Juanita” Hatfield, 88, will be 2 pm Wednesday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rev David Wiggs will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Juanita was born April 15, 1918 in Oxford, KS to Abraham Lincoln and Addie Gertrude [Ricks] McClaflin and died Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Enid, OK.

On July 12, 1941 Juanita married Marvin Hatfield in Enid. He died February 13, 2004.

She was a teacher for 44 years and taught at Driftwood, Carrier, Pioneer and also Autry Tech Center. She retired in 1984.

She was a 50-year member of FUMC and 60-year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She also was active in the OK Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by sons, Robert Hatfield and wife Ida of Thousand Oaks, CA, Phil Hatfield and wife Mickie of Chandler, OK; daughter, Mary Ann Bloom and husband Peter of Scottsdale, AZ; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Robert McClaflin; sisters, Leta Lawson, Eileen Page and LaVonna Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Richard McClaflin and three sisters, Mildred Winn, Wanda Wise and Louise Rohl.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.

Marcella Marie "Sally" [Sweetwood] Hatfield
November 28, 1925 ~ August 29, 2017


The memorial service for Marcella M. Hatfield, 91, Enid, is 11 am Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Flynn officiating. Arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Marcella was born Nov. 28, 1925, in Hillsdale, to Oliver and Nellie [Sweger] Sweetwood and passed away August 29, 2017.

She was reared and educated in Carrier and graduated from Carrier High School in 1944.

September 15, 1944, Marcella married Thomas W. Hatfield at the Vance Air Force Chapel, Enid. They then made their home in California for a short time until her husband was discharged from the service during WW II.

Marcella worked as a waitress for a short time before their son was born. She began to take care of her husband after he became disabled in a work accident in 1971.

Later he was put in a nursing home and she became a LPN and worked for St. Mary's hospital for many years, and took care of several family members.

Marcella was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Nellie Sweetwood; her husband, Thomas W. Hatfield; an infant brother, Curtis; brother, Kenneth; son, Dennis Hatfield.

She is survived by her brother, Leland Sweetwood and wife Nancy of Arkansas City, Kan.; sister-in-law Glenda Sweetwood of Enid; and a niece and nephews.

The family would like to thank St Mary's Hospital 4th Floor staff and Garland Road Nursing Home for their love and care shown to Marcella.

Memorials may be through the funeral home to Bible Baptist Bus Ministry.

Louis Rork Hatfield
April 30, 1924 ~ December 2, 1972


Louis Rork Hatfield, 48, 1406 E. Oklahoma, died Saturday in an Oklahoma City hospital following open-heart surgery.

His funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Bethany United Methodist Church with the Reverend Justus Edmondson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

The family has designated the Cardiac Care Unit at St Mary's Hospital as a suitable memorial to Hatfield. Memorial contributions may be made direct.

Hatfield was born April 30, 1924, near Carrier and served with the US Army Air Corps during World War II.

He was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church.

Hatfield and Dorothy Kennedy were married November 18, 1945, in Enid and she survives.

Other survivors are three daughters, Norma Lou Daggs, north of Enid, Viola May LaQuay, Del city and Cynthia Ann Hatfield, Oklahoma City; his father, Earl Hatfield of Enid; five brothers and two sisters, Luella Botts, Darleen Holt, Leo Hatfield, Irvin Hatfield and Robert Hatfield, all of Enid, Carl Hatfield of Oceanside, California, and Ray Hatfield of Tulsa, and three grandsons, Allen, Darrin, and Chris.

He was employed at Sears in Enid.

His mother and an infant brother preceded him in death.

Norma Lee [Brewer] Hatfield
September 18, 1926 ~ October 12, 2020


A Celebration of Life Service for Norma Lee Hatfield, 94 of Enid, will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later time in Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Norma was born on September 18, 1926 in Enid, Oklahoma to Leo and Martha [Woicikowfski] Brewer and passed away on October 12, 2020 in Enid.

She grew up in Enid and attended Enid Schools.

On March 20, 1943, she married Richard Hatfield and they made their home in Enid.

Norma was a beautician and later a clerk at Evans.

She retired and took care of her husband after his stroke.

Norma enjoyed keeping up with politics and working in her flower garden and yard.

She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.

Norma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved hosting family gatherings and was known for her homemade chicken and noodles. Holiday gatherings in her home were imporrtant to her.\

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Norman Dale Hatfield; brothers, Wayne, Ralph and Ira Dale; sisters, Dorothy and Naomi; twin great grandsons.

Norma is survived by her son and wife, Mark and Roxana Hatfield; daughter-in-law, Pam Hatfield; grandchildren, Angela and Keith Koechel, Jennifer and Andy Teague, Jeffry Hatfield, Jeff and Unkyong Lenning, Karlee and Corey Vail; great grandchildren, Kalin and Hayden Koechel, Tyson, Garrett , Kobe, and Camden Teague, Emma and Katie Hatfield, Emily Lenning, Addilyn Vail; brother and wife, Jess and Katie Brewer; many loving and cherished nieces and nephews.

Norman Dale Hatfield
March 17, 1947 ~ January 22, 2020


The Graveside services celebrating and honoring the life of Norman Dale Hatfield, 72, of Enid will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday January 25, 2020 in the Mausoleum in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born March 17, 1947 to Richard and Norma Lee Brewer Hatfield in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 22, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid where he graduated from High School. He was active in the schools wrestling program.

Following graduation, he attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Master's in Arts and English.

Norman was on the Enid Fire Department for several years. He was the owner-operator of Shamrock Firearms.

He always encouraged critical thinking, loved his family and most of all he loved his grandchildren.

On October 15, 2010 he married Pamela Sue Roark in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he sang in the choir.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Hatfield and mother Norma Hatfield; daughter Angie Koechel and husband Keith, grandchildren Hayden and Kalin; daughter Jennifer Teague and husband Andy, grandchildren Tyson, Garrett, Kobe, and Camden; son, Jeff Hatfield, grandchildren Emma and Katie and brother Mark Hatfield and wife Roxie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hatfield, and infant twin grandchildren.

Dennis E. Hatfield

A Memorial Service for Dennis Hatfield, 59, Enid, is 1 pm Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev Jerry Flynn officiating.

Dennis was born on July 9, 1957, in Enid, and was adopted by Thomas and Marcella Marie [Sweetwood] Hatfield. He passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in Enid.

Dennis grew up in Enid, where he attended school.

He worked at NORCE for 28 years, taking early retirement due to poor health.

He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Dennis enjoyed watching NASCAR, and his hobby was making things out of match sticks.

He is survived by his mother, Marcella "Sally" Hatfield, of Enid; uncle, Leland Sweetwood and wife, Nancy, of Arkansas City, Kansas; aunt, Glenda Sweetwood, of Enid; and several cousins.
