Funeral services for LaRitta Dolores Green, 75, Enid, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Visitation with the family present will be this evening from 6-7 p.m. at Stittsworth’s.

LaRita was born Dec. 19, 1939. in Enid, the daughter of Jesse Vasquez and Oleta Lavonica, and passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2014, at her residence. She was raised and educated in Enid.

On May 8, 1973, LaRita married Freddie Green in Enid. She worked for the Election Board for 10 years, and they both were members of Bible Baptist Church for over 30 years.

Survivors include LaRita’s husband Fred of the residence; daughters, Meriah Burnett of Enid; Rhonda Walters of Abilene, Texas and son John Green of McAlester; brother, Roy Vasquez of Drummond, and Ramona Armstrong of Gore, Okla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

LaRita was preceded in passing by her parents; children, Carlene Othier, Sandi Hodges, Richard Parker, Shawn Green; and brothers, Roy Vasquez and Dorman Burkes, Jr.

The family has selected Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation as appropriate for memorial donations.
