May 20, 1925 - June 13, 2021

The funeral service for Estella Irene Green, 96-year-old Enid resident, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Central Christian Church. Reverend Tom Stanley will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Estella Irene Kurtz Green was born May 20, 1925, near Covington, Oklahoma, and passed from this life June 13, 2021, in Enid.

Irene graduated from Pioneer High School in 1943 and upon graduation moved to Enid to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She later worked with Huffman Floral for 14 years. She was a lifetime member of Integris Baptist Hospital Auxililary and an active member of Central Christian Church.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mollie (Dillingham) Harris; husband Ted Kurtz and husband Garrell Green; her son Gary; and brother D.E. Harris. Irene is survived by her son Dennis Kurtz, her sister Wanda Gungoll, and grandchildren Amy Kurtz and Theodore Kurtz III, as well as two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to the charity of the donor's choice.
