Gravlee, 49, of Lafayette, La., will be 11 am Wednesday at Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev Steven Hula will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. He was born August 3, 1955, in Seminole to Donovan H. and Mary Lucille Freeman Gravlee Sr, and died Friday, April 15, 2005, in Lafayette. He owned and operated many Sonic restaurants. Surviving are his mother, Mary Lucille Gravlee of Enid; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Gravlee of Enid and Kelly Brooke Hadley of Austin, Texas; a sister, Beth Gravlee of Enid; three brothers, Mark Gravlee of Tulsa, Donovan Gravlee Jr, of Birmingham, Ala., and Nate Gravlee of Lafayette; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. |
© Anderson~Burris Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma May 2012 June 10, 1960 ~ May 24, 2012 A funeral service for Nathan Ward Gravlee, age 52, will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 1, 2012 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jim Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Nathan was born to Donovan H. and Mary Lucille [Freeman] Gravlee on June 10, 1960 in Enid, and passed away on May 24, 2012 in Saint Martinville, Louisiana. Nate grew up in Enid and has been in Lafayette area since 1980. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, gardening, raising and rescuing dogs, and having a saltwater aquarium. He is survived by: his mother Lucille Gravlee of Enid ; two brothers Donovan Gravlee and wife Victoria of Birmingham, Ala., and Mark Gravlee of Tulsa; and sister, Beth Gravlee of Enid. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Mitch Gravlee. |
