Wayne Ernest Goll

March 26, 1951 - March 01, 2019

Funeral services and celebration of life for Wayne E. Goll, age 67, of Enid, will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor David Reber, Jr. and Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Wayne was born March 26, 1951 in Enid, to parents, Marvin and Margaret Goll. He graduated from Kremlin High School in 1969 and started working for the Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement. In 2009, Wayne moved to Enid and enjoyed being close to family and friends. Wayne was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge #1740, where he was a Moose Legion member, and past trustee to the board. He loved to play cards with his fellow Moose members.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Margaret Goll, of Enid; brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Ann Goll, of Alva; sister and brother-in-law Marcene and Sheldon Kolb, of Edmond; nieces and nephews Tyla and Chad Mantz and Kendra and Todd Hamilton, all of Enid; Deana and Carson Silk, of Yukon; Ryan and Laryn Kolb, of Edmond; two great-nieces; five great-nephews, and numerous relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Goll, and grandparents, Ed and Ethel Petermann and Ernest and Mollie Goll.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

OHP identifies victim in Friday fatality crash

Enid News & EagleOklahoma Highway Patrol has released the name of a man who died Friday in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 81 about 5 miles north of Enid.

Wayne Ernest Goll, 67, of Enid, was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death was smoke inhalation, according to the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner's Office.

The accident happened at 3:54 a.m. Friday two-tenths of a mile north of Holden Road on U.S. 81.

According to an OHP report, Goll was driving a 2018 Chrysler 300 north on U.S. 81 when he went off the road to the right, came back on the road and went off to the right again. His car hit a cement culvert and a corner fence post, then caught fire.

The cause and Goll's condition at the time of the accident are under investigation, according to the report.
