Sheryl was a Texas Public School librarian and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma for more than 25 years. She had a kind heart and an adventurous spirit, and she was quickly considered a friend by many. She enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling, and being a Gramma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lysle and Kathryn (Clingan) Mason, as well as her brothers-in-law James Benson and Gary Gibson.
