ENID — Funeral service for Bill Galusha , 79, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alan Seibel of Davis Park Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Bill was born Oct. 10, 1932, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Claude H. and Virginia (Wheeler) Galusha and died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Bill grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High in 1950.

He joined the United States Air Force in 1952 and served four years in the Korean War.

Following his separation from the Air Force, he worked in Enid as a carpenter and worked for Serv-Air at Vance Air Force Base for 11 years.

Then Bill worked for the Garfield County Sheriffs office as a deputy for 25 years before he retired. He also worked at Broadway Tower for 30 years.

He married Anna Marie Ent Oct. 26, 1957, in Enid. They recently celebrated 54 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie of the home; sons, Gregory Alan and wife Julie of Columbus, Ohio, and Brian Keith and wife Pam of Enid; daughters, Peggy Sue and husband Doug Arnold of Enid and Sheryl Ann and husband Jim Seibert of Broken Arrow; 14 grandchildren, Jeromy Lukenbaugh, Matt Lukenbaugh, Tim Lukenbaugh, Debbie Lukenbaugh, Jennifer Chesnut, Katy Lentz, David Galusha , Kevin Galusha , Lisa Galusha , Brandon Galusha , Megan Galusha , Trevor Galusha , Tyler Seibert and Zach Seibert; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Virginia Jones, Dixie Beckwith and Mildred Rader; and brothers-in-law, Jack Ent and Harold Ent.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob; and sister, Claudia.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
