The funeral for Tanner "Chase" Gaede, 24, Enid, is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, in the World Harvest Church. The Rev. Brad Mendenhall will officiate. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. There will be visitation with family 6-7 p.m. this evening, Dec. 13, 2016, in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel.

Chase was born August 22, 1992, in Enid to Scott Gaede and Becki Pack and died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016. He attended Chisholm school and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 2011. After graduation, he began working as an electrician for Thilsted Electric. He had a passion for his work and even more so for helping his clients. He would spend time talking with his customers...especially the elderly. He took a brief break from his career as an electrician to serve his country in the United States Navy. After his service, he returned home to continue working with Thilsted.

Chase enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music, fast cars, but mostly spending time with his family and friends. He cherished this the most. He had a new love in his life, his dog "Jenna." They went everywhere together. She was a stray, and Chase could never turn down bringing home a stray.

Although he is gone, he will always remain in our hearts and minds. He left a lasting impression on anyone he ever met. "God Speed, Chase".

He is survived by his father, Scott Gaede and wife, Becky; mother, Becki Jines; his step-father, Tim Jines; two brothers, Turner and Zachary; one sister, Hailie; paternal grandparents, Beverly Gaede, and Glenn Gaede and wife, Betty; Larry Payne and (granny) Karen; Gary and Jenny Greethurst; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Marina Jines; and great-grandma, Reba Bonnett.

Memorials in his name may be made to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
