Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Freddie was born on February 21, 1940 in Hennessey, Oklahoma, the son of Orphia Delbert Green and Florence Rose Lebow Green, and passed away on December 13, 2021 in Oklahoma City.

Freddie was born on a farm west of Hennessey, Oklahoma. He worked on the farm and was devoted to helping with the daily chores. He was one of nine siblings, so there was always something to do. Freddie attended Hennessey Schools, graduating from Hennessey High School with the class of 1958. Freddie worked at various jobs during his life and most recently at Vance Apr Force Base. He was a butcher, mechanic, police officer, and truck driver.

Freddie served his country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. He was a combat soldier in the Korean War. He was a heavy weapons infantry man. Having many interests in his busy life, Freddie enjoyed traveling, coyote hunting with his buddies, fishing and attended the large Green Family Reunions, where he often kept everyone laughing with many stories.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Bob Green of Hennessey, Oklahoma, his wife Laritta Green of Enid, son, Shawn Green of Oklahoma City, his brother, Bob of Little Rock, Arkansas, his sister, Millie Sue Scott of Blackwell, his brother, Ira Green of Casa Branoe, Arizona, his brother Danny of Hennessey, and several step children.

Freddie is survived by his brother, Jim and wife Joane of Fayetteville, Arkansas, sister, Elizabeth Lee of Hobbs, New Mexico, brother, Dale and wife Dolores of Watonga, Oklahoma, his sister, Mary Winburn and husband Dwight of Newkirk, Oklahoma. Fred also lovingly took in and fully raised into adulthood as his own children, Jason Parker of Oklahoma City, from the age of 2 years old, and Mariah Burnett of Enid, from the wee age of 6 months old.

Fred was an amazing grandfather who loved his grandchildren greatly.
