Funeral services for Shirley Jean Gillenwater will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alan Seibel officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Shirley was born September 19, 1931 in Enid to George and Beryl (Taylor) Pasby, and passed away April 20, 2022. She attended and graduated from Enid schools. Shirley married Bill Gillenwater before he left and served in the Korean Conflict. She took care of their home and raised their children. Shirley enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, sewing, spending time with her family. She participated in Eastern Star for many years. Shirley and Bill enjoyed traveling all around the United States on their motorcycle.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jeanie Clark and husband Tony; son, David Gillenwater; grandson, Shawn Tennyson and wife Desiree; granddaughter Tiffany Siders and husband Eli; numerous grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bill Gillenwater; brother, George Pasby, Jr.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
