Gertrude M. "Gertie" Fluman
March 30, 1912 ~ February 22, 2008


Gertrude M. “Gertie” Fluman, 95, graveside service will be 2 pm Thursday, February 28, 2008, in the Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev Stanley Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Gertie was born March 30, 1912, in Cleo Springs to John Wesley and Mary Melissa Johnson Moody, and died Friday, February 22, 2008, in Enid.

She attended Enid High School.

She and Harold Fluman were married in Enid June 16, 1929. They owned and operated the Fluman Body Shop for 20 years.

She was a charter member of the West Willow Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1977, four sisters, and a brother.

She is survived by a son Gerald and wife Wilma, Enid; Jerry Fluman of Waukomis, a nephew raised by the Flumans as a half brother; a sister, Juanita and husband Jack Keck, Burkburnett, Texas; a granddaughter, Diane and husband Ron Greinert, Bryan, Texas; three great grandchildren: Wesley, Kirsten and Shawn Greinert; one great great-grandson, Joseph Greinert; and several nieces and nephews.

Gerald Ray Fluman
October 10, 1930 ~ November 9, 2016


A Celebration of Life for Gerald Fluman, 86, Enid, is 10 am Monday, November 14, 2016, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, with the Rev Wade Burleson officiating. Interment follows in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home 6-7 pm Sunday, November 13, 2016.

Gerald was born October 10, 1930, the son of Harold and Gertrude Moody Fluman, and passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

He was a graduate of Enid High School in 1948. He then attended Phillips University where he graduated with a BS Degree in Education.

He was united in marriage to Wilma Kegin in 1950, in Covington.

He was first employed by his father at the Fluman Body Shop.

Gerald then pastored the Comberland Presbyterian Church in Goltry.

Gerald taught history at Enid High School for 32 years until his retirement.

He has been a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since 1975 where he served as a greeter.

He enjoyed making candy and gardening, and also worked in the press box at the Enid High School Plainsman Field.

He will be remembered as a godly man.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma; three grandchildren, Wesley Greinert, Kirsten Greinert and Shawn Greinert; and two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Diane Greinert.

Dorothy Ann [Teske] Fluman
Marech 8, 1933 ~ June 4, 2021


Funeral services for Dorothy Ann [Teske] Fluman, age 88, of Enid, will be 10:00 am Monday, June 14, 2021, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, with Reverend Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born March 8, 1933, on her Grandpa and Grandma Kabetzke's farm to Frank and Elizabeth [Kabetzke] Teske, and passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, in Enid.

Dorothy was baptized and confirmed at the Ganella Lutheran Church, near Lahoma, and was a long-time member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Enid.

She married Buddy Fluman on July 1, 1950, in Enid, and they had two children, Linda and Rodney.

She was the office manager of Fluman's Body Shop until Buddy's death in 2002.

Every year she and Buddy looked forward to taking the kids on their yearly vacations to Port Aransas, Texas, and after the kids were grown, they took their grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children, Linda Decker and husband Merlin, of Lahoma, Rodney Fluman and wife Vickie, of Enid; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as two step grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren; her sister Betty Martine, of Bel Aire, KS; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Buddy Fluman; and a brother, Robert Seeley. br>
Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to Saint Paul's Lutheran School, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
