Raymond Madison Ferguson
November 4, 1921 ~ November 15, 2022


Funeral services for Raymond Ferguson, age 101, will be held 12:00 pm, Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Raymondwas born November 4, 1921 in Alva to Dave and Sylvia [Smith] Ferguson, and passed away November 15, 2022. He graduated from Alva High School in 1939. Raymond enlisted in the Army 45th Division and served in WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam for a total of 39 years. On March 23, 1946 he married Jeanie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanie Ferguson; daughter, Martha Elizabeth Ferguson; 2 sisters, Violet Dale Sparks and Ealon Arnett; son-in-law, Walt Needham and grandson, Brian Murray.

Raymond is survived by his children, Dixie Murray of Ontario, CA, Dottie Needham of Madison, CT, Ray Jr [Sue] of Moore, OK, Joe [Kathy] of Texas City, TX and Ricky of Enid, OK; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Peaster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.

Jeanie L. [Lobbin] Ditner Ferguson
November 23, 1923 ~ January 22, 2013


Funeral services for Jeanie L Ferguson, age 89, will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 2 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Gail Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jeanie Lorain Ferguson was born November 23, 1923, in Alva, Okla., to Mrs Mary [Hobbs] Lobbin and died January 22, 2013, in Enid, Okla.

At age of 3, she became the stepdaughter of Claire Sprague. She was raised in Alva and Carrier.

At 17 she left school and married Louis Ditner of Goltry. This union produced Dixie Jean and Dottie Sue. She lost Louis in the Normandy Invasion.

On March 23, 1946, she married Raymond Ferguson. A vet of WW II and the 45th Division. This union produced three sons and one daughter. The daughter, Martha, was lost at 18 months.

Jeanie was very much a member of the "Greatest Generation."

After losing her first husband in WW II she stood by Raymond when he rejoined the Oklahoma 45th National Guard and when they were activated for the Korean War. She also stood by him to go active in 1963 and while he spent 1968 in Vietnam.

Jeanie enjoyed dancing, fishing, flowers and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her mother; stepfather; two brothers and baby Martha.

She is survived by Raymond, of the home; Dixie Murrey of Ontario, Canada; Dottie Needham of Madison, Conn., Ray Jr [Sue] of Moore, Okla., Joe [Kathy] of Texas City, Texas, and Ricky of Enid, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and brother, Jack [Pat] Sprague of Austin, Colo.

Cathy Jolene [Isom] Peters Ferguson
November 29, 1956 ~ February 22, 2015


Funeral for Cathy Jolene Ferguson, 58-year-old Enid, Okla., resident, will be 11 am Thursday, Februasry 26, 2015, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Vernon Lee will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation with the family is 5-7 pm today, February 25, at Henninger-Hinson Chapel.

Cathy was born November 29, 1956, in Thomas, Okla., to Johnny M. Isom and Shirley Jo [Martin] Isom and passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her home in Enid.

Cathy attended school in Oakwood, Canton and Enid. Cathy attended school in Oakwood, Canton and Enid.

Cathy and Danny Peters were married June 15, 1974, in Enid. To this union, two sons were born, Bradley Allen Peters and Danny William Peters.

Cathy worked in retail sales and then became a fulltime homemaker.

On October 2, 1998, Cathy married the love of her life and soul mate, Michael Ferguson, in Eureka Springs, Ark.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Michael of the home; son, Danny Peters of San Marcos, Texas; granddaughter, Eleanor Peters, also of San Marcos, who truly was the wind beneath her wings!; one daughter, Bailey of Cabot, Ark.; two grandsons, Liam and Benji, also of Arkansas; two sisters, Vicky Yadon and husband Steve of Stillwater and Sonya Ballard and husband Beau of Talequah, Okla.; one brother, Clifton White of Canton, Okla.; her lifetime friend of 52 years, B.J. Rhodes of Longdale, Okla.; stepfather, Clifton White and wife Peggy of Enid; and a host of loving nephews, nieces and friends, whom will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley Allen Peters; and a brother, Johnny M. Isom. Condolences may be made to the family at www.enidwe care.com
