Toyoko [Inuzuka] Failing
October 25, 1932 ~ February 07, 2019


The funeral service for Toyoko Inazka Failing will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeff Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Toyoko was born October 25, 1932 in Fukuoka, Japan to Ituhiko and Hiroko [Yamauti] Inuzuka and passed away February 7, 2019 in Enid.

On January 14, 1983, she married Bobby Failing at the Vance Air Force Base Chapel in Enid where the couple made their home.

Toyoko enjoyed fishing, bingo and going to casinos but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Toyoko is survived by her husband; children, Barbara Prock and husband, Lyle of Garber; Jack Moore of Enid; James Moore and wife, Ae Cha of Las Vegas, NV; Jay Moore and wife, Sharon of Enid; Linda Miller and husband; Jeff of Sacramento, CA; friend and caregiver, Tara Hutson of Enid and twelve grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to Valir Hospice with the Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.

George E. Failing II
April 25, 1938 ~ August 29, 2012


The Funeral for George E. Failing II, 74 year-old former Enid resident will be Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 1 pm in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Dan Barrick will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

George was born April 25, 1938 in Enid to Robert H. and Altah May [Swaney] Failing, and died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Tulsa. He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1956. He attended Enid Business College, Oklahoma State University, and obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Phillip's University.

On August 20, 1960 he married Coleda McMurphy in Davis Park Christian Church. The couple made their home in Enid where he taught at Enid Business College. He then worked with Wright & Saywer CPA/Law Firm. He later owned and operated American Corporate Finance Company in Enid for over a decade.

The couple moved to Tulsa in 1989 where he worked as a consultant in finance for various companies including Oral Robert's University, where he wrote operating manuals for each department.

He was a life-long Presbyterian, a volunteer for the Red Cross, and a member of the Enid High School Alumni Club.

He enjoyed music and could play many instruments by ear.

He is survived by his wife Coleda, of the home, his daughters; Cari Cooper and husband Mike and their son Chris, of Enid and Mary Failing, of Tulsa. His sister Barbara Jackson and husband Mickey, of Frisco, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Jim and Jerry Failing.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to OMRF, COPD Division.

Coleda Jean [McMurphy]
December 27, 1938 ~ November 3, 2023


The funeral service for Coleda Jean Failing, 84 year-old former Enid resident is 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Re Dan Barrick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Coleda was born December 27, 1938 in Enid, Oklahoma to John and Pearl [Lorenz] McMurphy and died Friday, November 3, 2023 in Tulsa.

She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High with the class of 1957. She then attended Central State University. She later attended Enid Beauty College and worked as a beautician for many years.

On August 20, 1960 she married George Failing in the Davis Park Christian Church and the couple made their home in Enid.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Failing of Tulsa and Cari and husband Mike Cooper and her grandson son Chris Cooper and his fiancee Bailley Smith and her great-daughter, Sophie Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband George E. Failing II.
