The funeral for Paul Owen Ezell, 91, of Enid will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Keith W. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday with the family at the funeral home.

He was born July 24, 1916, in Perryville, Ark., to Walter W. and Kate Fields Henry Ezell and died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in Spring, Texas.

He married Pauline Joanne Ramoly May 14, 1949. They moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma, where they made their home. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He served as a sergeant in the Army Air Force in World War II. He opened Ship Ahoy Bar in Little Rock, Ark., in 1947. He retired from Cook Paint and Varnish Co. in the early 1980s.

Surviving are one son, Paul L. Ezell of Spring, Texas; one daughter, Sharon Ezell Aranoff of Dallas; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Joanne, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Baptist Church.
