Lois was born November 18, 1928, to Frank and Nettie Crisswell Eades in Scobey, Montana, and passed from this life September 8, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Laverne, graduating from Laverne High School in 1946. She attended Northwestern State University in Alva for two years. She married the love of her life, Russell Wayne Evans, July 3, 1949.

The couple made their home in Laverne, where she worked at First National Bank for eighteen years. They moved to Enid in 1965, and she began working at Security National Bank for fifteen years. She then worked with her husband's oilfield company, Evans Oilfield Construction, until her retirement in 1990.

In retirement she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and family. She was a member of the Emmanuel Enid Church, where she was involved in several women's Bible study groups for many years. She was also a member of the Christian Women's Club and enjoyed playing Pitch, bowling, and Bible study group at Burgundy Place.

She is survived by one son, Jack Joe Evans, of Ames; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, and one daughter, Jyl Jenkins.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Emmanuel Nursery, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family online at www.Brown-Cummings.com.
