Funeral service for Thomas Evans, 76, of Enid, is 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at World Harvest Church with Pastor Brad Mendenhall and Pastor Mike Sturgeon officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Thomas was born April 9, 1941, in Burnt Prairie, IL, to Frank and Martha (Guffey) Evans, and passed away on February 27, 2018, in Enid. Thomas loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He loved watching OU Football and was a very big fan of Barry Switzer. He was a member of the World Harvest Church in Enid.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; step-father Jack Purdy, and brother, Ray Evans.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Glenda Evans; daughter, Robin Ewing (Bryan) of Drummond; son, Mike Evans (Melba) of Enid; four grandchildren, Kyle Ewing and wife Jennifer, Tyler Evans and wife Caitlin, Garrett Evans and wife Emma, and Kara Bergdall and husband Kendall; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Darlene Duffano of Gulfport, MS.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF-Heart Division.
