The Funeral for C. W. Etter, 76, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid.

He was born Sept. 14, 1923 in Rush Springs to William Ella Seymore Etter and died Wednesday March 1, 2000 at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital.

He grew up in Fletcher, moving to Enid in 1961. He was a veteran of W W ll , serving in the Navy. He Married Georgia Faye Hutson May 11, 1947, she died in 1986. He worked as a truck driver Westeren Commercial Transport. retiring in 1979. He married Virginia Defoe Scott Feb.7, 1987 in Waukomis,

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia of the home; Four sons, Darrell of Dalas; Marshall and Allen of Enid; Dennis of Norman; three daughters, Louise Etter of Enid; Coleen Dutton, of Enid; Connie Frazier of Calif.; eight sisters and two brothers;16 grandkids 5 great-grandkids; 6 step kids; 9 step grandkids; and 4 step great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, and two brothers.

Georgia Faye Hutson Etter was born March 14, 1928 in Lawton to George and Margaret Barker Hutson and died April 28, 1986 in Bass Hospital.

She married C.W. Etter May 11, 1947. To this union was born four sons: Darrell, Marshall, Dennis and Allan; and 3 Daughters Louise Etter. Coleen Dutton and Connie Frazer.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, C.W. of the home in Enid ; their 4 sons and 3 daughters; 2 brothers Pete and Bill Huton and 3 sisters Mary Reed, JoAnn Duke, Marie Crow and Barbara Catherwood.
