Violet M. [Nelson ] Escue
September 30, 1924 ~ September 27, 2009


The funeral service for Violet M Escue, age 84 will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 2:30 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Pat Sutherlin will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Violet was born September 30, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Roland Ernest and Hilda (Anutzen) Nelson and died September 27, 2009 at the Greenbrier Skilled Nursing Home.

She loved to camp and fish and sang with the Sweet Adelines. She worked as a health care provider for the Department of Human Services.

She was married to Dick Escue, owner of the Enid Carpet and Tile of Enid.

Survivors are her children: Sherolyn Reifel of Tulsa, OK, Allen Escue of TX, Wayne Escue of NC and Lavon Henry of Florence, OR; and 9 grandchildren.
