Woman's Death Called Accident

An accidental overdose of medication is believed to be the cause of death for a 41 – year – old Enid woman who suffered from a lengthy illness, police said.

Kathleen Enloe was discovered dead in her bed early Saturday by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Norvell, 2700 N. Van Buren, 193.

The body was sent to the states chief medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City for an autopsy.

Authorities suspect a 41 – year – old Enid woman died Saturday from an accidental overdose of medication she took for an illness.

Kathleen Enloe was discovered dead in her bed early Saturday morning by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Norvell, 2700 N. Van Buren, 193.

The family doctor, Michael Babb pronounced Enloe dead before police arrived. Authorities suspect Enloe, who suffered from a lengthy illness, accidentally took an overdose of her medication, said police Captain Larry Nichols.

The body was sent to the states chief medical examiner in Oklahoma City for autopsy.

The funeral for Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Enloe, 41, who died early Saturday at her home, Lot 193 High Point, after a long period of ill health, will be at 10 AM Tuesday in Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Jeff Enabnit will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The former Mary Kathryn Raasch, Mrs. Enloe was born May 13, 1943, in Hermosa Beach, California. She and Franklin D. Enloe were married December 22, 1958, in Blanco. They later lived in Oklahoma City.

The past 13 years, she has made her home with her mother and step-father in Enid.

Survivors include two children, Denise Coleman, Lahoma, and Curtis Enloe, Enid; one grandson; her mother and step – father, Mary and Clyde Norvell, Enid; her father and step – mother, Thomas and Helen Raasch, Yukon; two brothers, Thomas Raasch III, Oklahoma City, and Shannon Raasch, Jones; and two sisters, Sandra Johnson, Oklahoma City, and Sherry Collier, Moore.
