Graveside services for Mrs. Russell [June] Emrick, 74, 1401 W. Wabash, will be at 10 AM Monday in the Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev Barney Jackson officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

Mrs Emrick died Friday afternoon in a local hospital. She was born June 24, 1904, in Iowa City, Iowa, and moved with her parents to Enid in 1910.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1922.

Mrs. Emrick was an active member of Saint Matthews Episcopal Church, the Altar Society and the Saint Catherine's Guild.

The former June Blattler, she and Russell Emrick were married December 9, 1936, in Oklahoma City. They had lived in Enid since that time.

In addition to her husband Russell, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs Gerald V. [Janie] Holombo, Novato, California; two grandsons and a sister, Mrs Beulah Jones of White Lake, South Dakota. Another sister and two brothers died earlier.

The family has designated the Building Fund of Saint Matthews church as a suitable memorial for Mrs Emrick.

The funeral home will serve as custodian of contributions made in her memory.
