ENID — Funeral service for Melinda Edwards, 38, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Anderson - Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Rose officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home .

Melinda was born Oct. 3, 1973, in Ada to Arrie and Hazel (White) Reich and died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in Oklahoma City.

Melinda attended school at Sasakwa and moved to Holdenville in 1989.

She moved to Enid in 2007 and married Sammy Edwards Dec. 30, 2001.

Melinda enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren.

She was a wildlife photographer, especially deer. Melinda enjoyed the outdoors, boating and fishing.

She is survived by husband, Sammy of the home ; mother, Hazel White of Holdenville; mother-in-law, Jeanette Howard of Enid; stepmother, Norma Reich of Sasakwa; children, Michael (Jennifer) Edwards, Ashley Edwards, Selena Threlkeld and Emmily Edwards, all of Enid, Matthew (Roxanne) Edwards of Waynoka, William (Rose) Chesser of Holdenville and John Crutcher of Chickasha; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Avery Reich and James Harris; and sister, Felicia Beeler.

Melinda was preceded in death by her father and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to OU Medical Center.
