Funeral services for Harold W. "Bus" Edwards, 70, who died Tuesday evening after a period of ill health, will be at 10 AM Friday in the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Leslie G. Everitt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The casket will be open at the funeral home until service time.

Edwards was born December 18, 1911, in Texas and came to Enid with his parents from Weinert, Texas.

He was employed as a foreman at Champlin Refining Company, where he worked for 39 years before his retirement in 1972.

Edward was a veteran of World War I I, serving in the Air Force. He and Pauline Tarr were married October 10, 1942.

Edwards was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife Pauline of the home at 1913 E. Elm and a sister, Mrs. Herschel (Ruth) Vriesacher, Vellville, Illinois.

Those who wish may make contributions to the First Presbyterian Church or the charity of choice in memory of Edwards. Contributions may be made direct or through the funeral home.
