Funeral service for Edna Louise Edmonds, 85, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mathew Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Edna was born to Bryan and Edna Steiger Massie on Jan. 27, 1930, in Hunter, Okla., and passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, in Enid.

Edna graduated from Billings High School.

She married Donald ”Mack” Edmonds on Feb. 23, 1950. In 1961, they moved to Enid, where they made their home and they attended Calvary Chapel Church. She was a Sunday school teacher and she loved camping, fishing, hiking, hunting and anything outdoors, and she always had a garden.

Edna is survived by her husband, Don of the home; two children, Jimmie of Enid and Bill of Lahoma; two grandchildren, Stacey and Craig Edmonds; and one brother, Keith Massie of Wichita, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers.

Memorials may be made to OMRF, Alzheimer’s division.

Funeral service for Donald Mack Edmonds, 94, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2020, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Don was born Nov. 23, 1925, in Glen Rose, Okla., to Roy Alvin and Ruth (Wyckoff) Edmonds and passed away, on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, in Enid. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII in both European and Pacific Theaters.

On Feb. 23, 1950, Don married Edna Louise Massie in Garber, and they made their home in Enid, where they attended Calvary Chapel Church. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the American Legion and the Masons Masonic Lodge #80 for 60 years.

Don is survived by his sons Jimmie Edmonds of Enid and Bill and wife Heather Edmonds of Lahoma; 2 grandchildren, Stacey and Craig Edmonds; 4 great-grandchildren; and his sister Ruth Mary Westmier of Del City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Edna in 2015.
