© Amy Stittsworth Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma March 2018 November 7, 1958 ~ March 10, 2018 Funeral services for Gary Len Eckhardt, 59, Enid, will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Gene Long officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Gary was born on November 7, 1958 in Enid, the son of George Sr and Bertha Mae Murray Eckhardt, and passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018 in Enid. He was raised in Enid, after schooling, Gary worked in the oilfield. In 1980, Gary started Gary's Roofing and was owner-operator until his retirement in 2002. He loved tinkering with cars and fishing. He was always there for anyone in need of his assistance. Gary married Sharon Denise Slaton in Enid on January 7, 2018. Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home; Mother, Bertha Eckhardt of Enid; sons, Brett and wife Karrie Eckhardt of Enid and Dustin Eckhardt of Enid, and Michael Howell of Enid; daughter, Tessa and husband Paul Thomas of Enid; grandchildren, Blaine and Bryce Eckhardt of Enid, and Jayden and Caleb Thomas of Enid, Teagan and Gracie Howell, both of Enid; sister, Teresa Willems of Enid; brothers, George Louis and wife Allison Eckhardt, Jr of Stratford, Missouri, Steven Ray and wife Cyndee Eckhardt of Jet, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews.
