March 14, 1943 - December 17, 2019

A Celebration of Life Service for David H. Eck age 76 of Enid will be 11:00 am Saturday at Central Christian Church with Rev. Tom Stanley and Rev. Don Johnson officiating. A Private family burial will be held before the service in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will have a reception following the service in the fellowship hall. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

David was born March 14, 1943, in Goltry, OK to Roy and Gustena (Penner) Eck and passed away at his home on December 17, 2019. He moved to Enid in 1954 and graduated from Enid High School in 1961. He married Kathy Young on December 22, 1964, in Memphis, TN. David worked for Champlin Petroleum for 18 years, owned the WeeToo Restaurant for 5 years and went to work for Northcutt Chevrolet and retired after 28 years as Vice President and General Manager. He was a member of Central Christian Church where he served as treasurer and chaired several committees. He was a member of the Enid Corvette Club and the Antique Car Club. David enjoyed singing in the Barbershop Chorus and several different Quartets and the choir at church.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, children; David Eck II and wife Liz of Marietta, GA, Brian Eck and wife Traci of Woodstock, GA, Mark Eck and wife Kelsey of San Antonio, TX, and Deborah Eck of Stillwater, six grandchildren; Camden, Owen, Brandon, Jordan, Brooks, and Reagan, brothers; Eugene Eck and wife Anisha , Edwin Eck, Eldon Eck and wife Lavon and Richard Eck and wife, Myrna and a sister Linda Neufeld Esau and husband Henry, Canada, a special friend, Hannah Pershing Coit and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in law, Victor Neufeld, and sister in law Shirley Eck.

Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
