December 3, 1905 ~ December 87, 1984


The funeral for Mrs. Charles [Katherine] Eby, 79, formerly of 1001 E. Park, will be 10 AM Tuesday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Carlton Kjergaard will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs Eby died Saturday in a local hospital after a period of ill health.

She was born December 3, 1905, in Schwab, Russia, and came to the United States with her parents, Mr and Mrs Henry Peil, in 1907.

She had lived in Garfield County most of her life. For a few years, she lived in Louisiana and Mississippi, and since 1948 had lived in Enid.

She and Charles Eby were married in 1955. He died May 8, 1980.

Survivors include three stepsisters, Mrs Arthur [Mollie] Jenkins, Breckinridge, Pauline Mohlenbrink and Rose Lee Crawford, both of Enid; and one step brother, Henry Diel, Breckinridge.
