Gerald Gus "Gary" Eberhardt
November 16, 1941 ~ May 13, 1984

Services for Gerald Gary "Gus" Eberhardt, 42, North Hollywood, California, will be at 2 PM Friday in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Richard Siders officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Eberhardt died Sunday in North Hollywood. He was born November 11, 1941, at Watonga, grew up in the Okeene area and graduated from Okeene High School, then enlisted in the United States Air Force.

While stationed in French Morocco, he and Marcelle Swissa were married there.

After his discharge, the family returned to El Reno where Eberhardt worked for the El Reno reformatory for 19 years, during which time he completed four years of college and earned his bachelor's degree.

He was transferred to Terminal Island in California in March.

Eberhardt is survived by his wife Marcelle of the home, two daughters, Norma Jeanne Eberhardt of North Hollywood and Eva Marie Eberhardt of Oklahoma City; his father, Gus Eberhardt, Stratton, Colorado; his mother and stepfather, Mr and Mrs Jack Bernard of Enid; two sisters, Mrs Lester [Andina] Weber, Fairview and Mrs Mark [Debra] Lounsbury of Enid.
