October 24, 1943 - October 21, 2018

The funeral service for Pamela Sue Eastwood, 74 year-old Enid resident, is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October25, 2018, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Tim Taylor will officiate.

Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pamela was born October 24, 1943, in El Paso to Lloyd and Billie (Hocker) Stratton, and died Monday, October 21, 2018 in Greenbrier Nursing Home.

She attended El Paso schools and graduated with the class of 1961. She went to work at a local radio station in El Paso as an advertising executive.

In October of 1964, she married C. L. Hatchel. To this union three sons were born. They later divorced.

Pamela and her sons moved to Enid in 1977. She went to work with Jim Abercrombie at Oil Field Rental. This is where she met her future husband, Babe Eastwood. They were married 1983.

Together they owned and operated East Co. Rental Tools Inc. until Babe's death in 2001. She continued working at East Co, with her sons Glenn and Craig.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching refurbishing house programs on HGTV, and also enjoyed playing golf.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Hatchel of Kansas, Glenn Hatchell of Enid, and Craig Hatchel and wife Barbara of Hennessey; six grandchildren, Breeanna, Jackson, Hayden, Lauren, Dylan, and Nathan. One great-grandson, Karsyn; and one brother, Wes Stratton of Midland, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Babe, and one great-grandson Kayston.
