ENID, Okla. - Doris J. Easton, 76, of Navarre, Fla., formerly of Enid, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at her home.

Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Doris was born Oct. 17, 1935, in Cherokee, Okla., the daughter of Randal Dee and Iva Mae Moore Oswald.

Doris married Howard M. Easton on March 4, 1967. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1996.

Doris had worked for various nursing homes in and around Enid before going to work at NORCE State School in the early 80's, working there until her retirement in 1996.

In 1998, Doris moved to Navarre, Fla., and went to work for Leisure Time RV until 2008.

Doris was a faithful volunteer at United Methodist Church in Florida.

Doris was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are daughter, Ruth Ann Porter and husband Richard of Seoul, South Korea; two sons, William D. Keister (Kathy Stone) and Howard M. Easton Jr. (Melinda); two sisters, Darlia Hunt of Mission Hill, Calif., and Diana Voss of Enid; two brothers, Randal D. Oswald and Donald Oswald; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Special Olympics.
