© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma September 17, 2024 July 28, 1920 ~ September 5, 2014 The funeral for Dorothy May Duffy, 94-ear-old Enid resident, will be 2 pm Monday, September 8, 2014, in Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Susan Southall will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dorothy was born July 28, 1920, in Thomas, Oklahoma, to George and Amanda Clinton and died Friday, September 5, 2014, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. On March 31, 1940, she married Vance Duffy in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Enid, where Dorothy was a payroll clerk for the United States Air Force. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Vance Duffy of Fort Worth, TX, and Warren Duffy and wife Beulah of Enid; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. © Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma December 1, 2020 November 13, 1928 ~ November 28, 2020 Funeral services for Robert William "Bob" Duffy will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will be for the immediate family at the cemetery. The family asks that masks be worn during the service and to practice social distancing. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Bob was born November 13, 1928, in Loyal, OK, to Floyd and Elizabeth [Garms] Duffy and passed away November 28, 2020, in Enid, OK, at the age of 92 years. He married Eloise "Dolly" Fiegel on January 27, 1948. He worked 38 years with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company as a Distribution Superintendent. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2005; son, Dale; four brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by two daughters, Carol Earhart and husband Marvin of Waukomis, Cindy Krey and husband Ron of Enid; three sons, David and wife Connie of Enid, Dennis and wife Kathy of Brownwood, TX, Duane and wife Pam of Kingwood, TX; one daughter-in-law, Jan Duffy of Enid; one sister, Barbara Wilczek of Enid; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Loyal Fire Fighters Association or Loyal Lions Club, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds. |
