Irene P. [Moore] DeLisle
September 14, 1909 ~ November 5, 2005


The funeral services for Irene P. DeLisle, 96, year old Enid resident will be 10:00 am today, November 7, 2005, in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Byron Muefeld will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Irene was born September 14, 1909, in Enid to Rev J.A. Moore and Ellen Elizabeth [Kelley] Moore and passed into eternal life Saturday, November 5, 2005, in the Greenbrier Nursing Home.

She was the sixth child born to Rev and Mrs Moore.

She married Charles G. DeLisle on June 17, 1924 and they made their home in Enid. She was a homemaker, beloved Mother and Grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs Barbara Calivas and her husband Charlie, of Enid, her son Charles W. DeLisle, and his wife JoAnn of Pflugerville, TX; her seven grandchildren; Michael DeLisle and wife Sabrina, Kelly Stevenson and husband Chris, Sheryl Meier and husband Matt, Chris Martin and wife Sharon, LaDonne Meier and husband Mark, Lisa Childress, and Sue Burks and her husband Leroy.

Eighteen great-grandchildren; Brandon Pello, Krista DeLisle, Nicole DeLisle, Lindsey, Chelsea, and Charlie Stevenson, Jeff Brett, and Douglas Meier, Christopher Martin, Johnna Dillon, Kyle, Andrew, Brandon and Jarod Meier, RaeAnna DeBoard, Shannon, Troy, and Ricky Urban. Also surviving are two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles, and one grandchild, Jo Ellen Martin.
