Larry Dale Dalrymple
May 2, 1954 ~ September 5, 2011


ENID - celebration of life for Larry Dalrymple, 57, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Larry fought a very brave and courageous battle with cancer for three plus years. He will be missed very much and remembered fondly.

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." John 11:25.

Larry was born to Daniel and Shelva [Turner] Dalrymple on May 2, 1954, in Vici and died Monday, September 5, 2011, in Enid.

He graduated from Enid High in 1973.

On March 7, 1975, he married Peggy Willis, his junior and high school sweetheart, daughter of James and Kay Willis, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.

Larry worked at Failings and the city of Enid for 21 years until his death. He was instrumental in helping form AFSCME, a union for the non-uniformed city of Enid employees.

Larry was baptized and confirmed at Saint Paul's by Pastor Kenneth Wade in 1975.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his classic trucks. Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Tara Lee, the apple of his eye.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Peggy; son, David and wife Carolina; granddaughter, Tara Lee; brothers, Alan, Bart and Danny, all of Enid; and sisters, Lisa Benshoff, Lori Kilpatrick and Shannon Gomez.

Parker Addison Dalrymple
July 16, 2012 ~ May 19, 2020


Parker Addison Dalrymple passed away on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020, surrounded by family in the OU Children's Medical Hospital after battling a severe asthma attack.

Parker is preceded in death by her father Robin Karpe; grandpa Gary Karpe; her maternal grandparents Daniel and Shelva Dalrymple; Uncle Larry Dalrymple; and cousin Bryce Crow.

Parker is survived by her mother Shannon Dalrymple; grandmother Alice Karpe; several aunts and uncles; along with many cousins, second cousins, and her beloved cat, Samantha.

Parker involved in Girl Scouts with Troop 727 in Enid for three years. She loved selling cookies and developing friendships with the girls in her troop.

Parker was also involved in numerous Bible schools at her home church of North Garland Church of Christ. She loved learning about Jesus, singing her favorite worship songs, and spending time with a lot of close friends through their activities. Parker was baptized on Monday, May 18th, 2020, in the hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Parker will be forever loved and missed by the friends and family who cared for her.

Parker's funeral service will be on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020, at 1PM at the North Garland Church of Christ in Enid, Oklahoma, under the direction of the Ingram, Smith, and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, Oklahoma. She will be laid to rest at the Enid Memorial Park Cemetery.

Parker's family wishes to thank the Sleeping Angels Ministry at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary for providing free funeral services for Parker.
