© Anderson~Burris Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma November 2020 December 15, 1939 ~ November 28, 2020 Mass of Christian Burial for Charley Cunningham, 80, will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church with Reverends Mark Mason and John Herrera celebrants. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday evening at 7:00pm at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church with Deacon Val Ross presiding. Charley was born on December 15, 1939 in Hunter, Oklahoma to Clyde and Bellzora Cunningham and died on November 28, 2020 in Enid. He was born the 8th of 11 children and grew up in the Hunter area. Charley went to Hunter High School. On August 20, 1960, he married Dolores "Dee" Fuxa in Saint Joseph Catholic Church and they made their home in Enid. He worked in the construction industry for many years, working for Shorty Leighnor, Henson Construction, Bass Construction and Davidson Brothers. Charley worked on many public buildings in Enid and throughout Oklahoma. He was a charter member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Charley was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1044, where he was Knight of the Month and Charley and Dee received the Family of the Year several times. He was a member of Dudes and Dolls Square Dancing Club and was a great pitch player. Charley was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George and Andrew; sisters, Margaret and Thelma and two infant sisters. He is survived by his wife, Dee; four children and their spouses, Keith and Deana Cunningham, Kyle and Judi Cunningham, Kara and Tim Hopkins, and Kimberly and Darrell Clark; fifteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and Calvin Cunningham; two sisters, Laverna Selix and Diana Kay Clary; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to St. Gregory’s Good Samaritan Fund. |

Wyett Cunningham, age 80, of Edmond formerly of Enid, will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Wednesday January 21, 2009 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Michael Howerton officiating. She will be buried next to Vernon Cunningham at Memorial Park Cemetery, following the celebration of life service. Arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Marge was born on June 17, 1928 in Custer City, Oklahoma to Lynn W. and Katherine Derr Wyett, and departed this earthly life on January 17, 2009 in Oklahoma City. She was surrounded by her loving family and passed peacefully into eternal life. She spent most of her childhood in Western Oklahoma, living in Custer City, Waynoka, and Fairview. She graduated from Fairview High School in 1946 and married K. Allen Howerton that same year. Two children Lonnie Allen and Katherine "Kay" Jean were born to this union. In 1957 she married Tom Sterling, and one child Kevin Reed was born to this union. She then married Vernon Cunningham in 1965 and lovingly accepted Bobby Cunningham as the final addition to her family. Marge worked at Champlin Refinery as an executive secretary. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; husband Vernon Cunningham; and son Bobby Cunningham. She is survived by son Lonnie Howerton and wife Nancy of Orange Co., CA, daughter Kay Jones and husband Darrell of Edmond, OK, son Kevin Sterling and wife Lisa of Sherman, TX, and daughter in law Nancy Cunningham of Enid; grandchildren, Michael & Jodie Howerton, Mark & Kristen Howerton, Sarah & Kipp Lyons, Casey Ransom, Ben Ransom, Matthew & LeeAnn Jones, Denton & Cheyenne Jones, Kevin Reed Sterling, Alexis Sterling, Jake Irvin, Craig & Penny Cunningham, Chad & Tina Cunningham, Chuck & Dawn Cunningham, and Cory & Toby Cunningham; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Bob & JoAnn Wyett of Lubbock, TX, Bill and Ricarda Goldston of Long Island, NY, Roy and Alta Goldston of Leedey, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many other family members. |
