Funeral service for Bobby Joe Cummings, 57, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Dec. 13, 1955, in Enid, Okla., to Don and Verna Jo Cummings and passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at his home.

He was raised in Enid, where he attended Enid High School.

Bobby married Karrie Wells March 20, 1976, in Enid.

Bobby started work for the Frisco/Burlington Railroad, worked for Pillsbury/ADM for 20 years, worked for Double Check for 5 years and then worked for Farmrail as a conductor/engineer until ill health forced him to retire.

Bobby was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Karrie of the home; two daughters, Claire Smith and husband Mark of Hennessey, and Madeline Cummings of Stillwater; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Macee, Haley, Armani, Trevin, Jazzlyn and Jada; parents, Don and Verna Jo Cummings of Bartlesville; sister, Vickie and husband Donnie Gravlee of Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Randy and wife Tammy of Bartlesville, and Wayne and wife Tanya Cummings of Tulsa; and several other family members.

Memorials may be made to Ross Health Care, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dexeus and his staff for the excellent care given to Bobby.
