February 10, 1954 - September 23, 2019

Celebration of Life service for Karon Jeanette Cross, 65 of Enid, will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Russell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Karon was born February 10, 1954, in Borger, Texas, to Jack and Maxine (McWhorter) Dugan, and passed away Monday, September 23, 2019, in Enid.

She Graduated from Enid High School in 1972. Karon married Donnie Cross on May 26, 1973, in Enid where they raised their family. Karon was an ambitious entrepreneur, operating various small businesses while raising her children. She was also a talented beautician and a successful real estate agent. Karon loved her family, particularly her 7 grandsons. She enjoyed shopping for family and interior design. She spent much of her retirement at the lake, traveling and creating memories with her family

In addition to her husband Donnie she is survived by her children; John and Jami, and Trampas and Mandy, all of Enid, seven grandchildren, Bailey, Cade, Cooper, Kyler, Koby, Cody and Brunson Cross; and sister, Susan Purdy and husband Vernon of Enid. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dalene Hueppelsheuser.
