Johnnie G. Cramer
March 25, 1929 ~ February 16, 2009


The graveside service for Johnnie G. Cramer, 79-year-old Lahoma resident will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, in Memorial Park Garden Chapel under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Pastor Dan O'Daniel will officiate.

Johnnie was born March 25, 1929, in Enid to John Herman and Opal Elizabeth [Stribel] Cramer and died Monday, February 16, 2009, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He attended Oakdale and Pleasant Valley schools and graduated from Drummond High School in 1946.

He enlisted in the US Air Force after graduation and was stationed in Wichita Falls, Texas, during the Korean War.

On June 13, 1953, he married Patricia Sturgeon at Ames Christian Church. The couple made their home on a farm north of Ames. They later divorced.

He always farmed but also graduated from Instrument Training School in Chanute, Ill., and worked at Vance Air Force Base for 22 years. He continued to farm up until the time of his death.

In the late eighties he married Mary Johnson. They later divorced.

On October 21, 1993, he married Betty Riggs. She preceded him in death in 2006.

He was a member of Parker Chapel Christian Union where he was an elder. He was a minuteman for Alfalfa Electric and also served on the board of the Ames Co-op. He loved to farm and raise cattle.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Kross of Breckinridge, Okla.; his son, David Cramer and wife Denise of Ames; three grandchildren, Holli and Kyle Kroll and Dalton Cramer; stepchildren from a previous marriage; one brother, Herbert Cramer of Dallas, Texas; one uncle, Gene Srtibel of Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, one brother, Richard Cramer, and one son-in-law, Ray Kroll.

Memorials may be made to OMRF, heart division, with Henninger-Hinson acting as custodian of the funds.

June 26, 1939 ~ June 30, 2006


The funeral for Betty June Cramer, 67, of Meno, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born June 26, 1939, in Douglas to Ernest R. and Opal O. Clark McVicker and died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Northwest Specialty Hospital.

She graduated from Douglas High School in 1958. She married Johnnie Cramer Oct. 19, 1993, in Enid. They made their home on a farm near Meno. She was a home health care worker.

Surviving are her husband, Johnnie of the home; four daughters, Junell Frazier and Verna LeClair, both of Garber, Sherry Bell of Enid and Deborah Kroll of Breckinridge; one son, David Cramer of Ames; three sisters, Martha Carter of Enid, Sharon Pope of Canton and Geneva Drake of Bartlesville; four brothers, Jerry and David McVicker both of Douglas, Donnie McVicker of Covington and Terry McVicker of Canton; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, one sister and two brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, lung division.
