ENID — Funeral service for Randy Conrady, 58-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Central Christian Church. The Revs. John McLemore and Don Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Randy was born Jan. 25, 1954, in Enid to Leo and Connie (Hill) Conrady and died peacefully Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Enid.

He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High in 1972. He then attended Oklahoma State University from 1972 to 1974.

Randy began working at Conrady Electric in 1975.

He married Bunny Cummins in July 1975. They had two children, Chelsea and Scott.

He obtained his journeyman and master electrical license in the same day with perfect scores in 1983. Randy took ownership of Conrady Electric in 1997. His greatest achievement was opening Grand Avenue Lighting in 1988. He loved Enid and was proud to be a downtown business owner. He was a member of Main Street Enid, Enid Home Builders Association and Enid Chamber of Commerce.

Randy served as board treasurer of the City of Enid Contractors Board.

He was a member of Central Christian Church. He also supported Oakwood Bowl by serving as board president, sponsoring youth bowling and the Turn-Around Achievement Program. Randy enjoyed football, especially the OSU Cowboys, NASCAR, spending weekends at Canton Lake, and cooking out. He loved his family, his employees and his companion, Tux, his black lab.

He is survived by his parents; his children, Chelsea Wedel and husband Aaron of Austin, Texas, and Scott Conrady and his fiancee’ Traci; three grandchildren, Austin, Jada and Baron and one grandson on the way, Ethan; brother, Mark Conrady and wife Billie Jo of Enid; sisters, Bridget Napoli, also of Enid, Elisa Clingings and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, Texas, and Pam Unruh and husband Earl of Hillsdale, Okla.; as well as several nephews and great-nephews.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Christian Church.
