Services for Blanche Collins, 62, who died early Thursday in her home following a lengthy illness, will be at 2 PM Monday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bill Kious will officiate at the rites and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Collins was born March 24, 1921, in Scranton, Arkansas, the daughter of Tobe and Dorothy (Jones) Sikes. She attended schools in Scranton. On March 11, 1942, she and Jacob S. Collins were married at Corvallis, Oregon. They moved to Enid the following year.

Mrs. Collins worked at Hedges Café from 1956 to 1968, then in the housekeeping department of St. Mary's Hospital. She had been lead housekeeper since 1972 and was on leave of absence at the time of her death.

Mrs. Collins was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Stewart Barton Collins, Norcross, Georgia, Carl Larry Collins, Brunswick, Missouri, and Ricky Lynn Collins of Enid; two daughters, Mrs. David (Joyce) McNaughton, Willow Park, Texas, and Jackie Johnstone of Waukomis; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Arnold B. Sikes, North Little Rock, Arkansas; three sisters, Prue Randel, Guthrie, Mrs. Wayne (Lucy) Bosewell of Moore and Stella Mae Sharp, Granada Hills, California. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 31, 1972, and by a brother.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Garfield County Hospice Association, with the funeral home serving as custodian of contributions.

The family will be at the home at 1204 E. Elm.
