© Enid Daily News Enid, Oklahoma April 22, 1973 May 30, 1906 ~ August 19, 1984 Mrs Herma Coen, 86, 1121 East Market, died Saturday morning in a local nursing home following a short illness. Her funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with the Rev Joe Stith and Rev Gaylord Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, North of Enid. Mrs Coen was born August 31, 1886 in Landville, Ind. and came to Oklahoma with her parents, the family settled at Leedy. She and Jesse David Coen March 30, 1904 and he died shortly after celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in 1964. They had moved to Enid in 1942 from the Garber/Covington area. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs Lee [Opal] Straily of Wichita, KS; Mrs Oscar [Pansy] Kegin; Mrs L. R. [Babe] Moulton; Mrs Ellis [Cricket] Mauk all of Enid; two sons, Marvin Coen, Clevelend, and D. C. Coen, Red Lodge, Mont. 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren. A son, Lyle Coen preceded her in death in 1969. |

© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma August 24, 2010 March 29, 1940 ~ August 21, 2010 Graveside service for Jesse Dale Coen, 70, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev Jim Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. He was born March 29, 1940, in Mannford, Okla., to Marvin Cowen and Elisabeth Kegin. Jesse served in the United States Army from December 31, 1958, to April 13, 1961. Jesse worked for Patterson Pest Control. He is survived by his daughters, Jessie Mae Coen of the home, Lettie May Barnes and Wanda Diebold, both of Enid, Monica Syverson of Blackwell and Lizette Higdon of Claremore, Okla.; stepson, Jonathan Lindig; 10 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
