ENID, Okla. - Funeral service for Howard Robert ?Bob? Clift, 76, formerly of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Susan Southall officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bob was born Nov. 14, 1936, in Enid, Okla., to Howard Russell and Elsie Mae (Porter) Clift. He passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, in Edmond after a period of declining health.

In 1954, he graduated from Enid High School.

After serving his country in the U.S. Navy, Bob graduated from Enid Business College in 1960.

On Nov. 28, 1958, he married Donna Hitchcock.

For more than 28 years, he worked at Mid-Western Life Insurance Co. He then became an independent accounting consultant.

Bob was a member of First United Methodist Church of Enid, Jaycees, Grand National Quail Club, and national president of AMBUCS. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Miner Clift.

Bob is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Donna; daughter, Suzanne Clift of Enid; son, Scott Clift and wife Ana of Irvine, Calif.; two grandchildren, Caitlin and Ryan Clift of Irvine, Calif.; and one brother, Steve Clift and wife Patty of Watonga.

Memorials can be given through the funeral home to OMRF, Alzheimers division.
