The funeral for Marcus Wayne “Mark” Carter, 41-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Marcus was born June 13, 1973, in Enid to William and Dolores (Raymond) Carter and died as a result of a car accident on Oct. 9, 2014, in Longdale, Okla.

In 2013, he moved to Wyoming, where he studied auto mechanics at Wyoming Tech.

After graduating in December 2013, he moved back to Enid.

He enjoyed bowling, University of Oklahoma football and listening to Christian or country music.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores; a grandfather, Clifford Raymond; two grandmothers, Dora Raymond and Marie Bell; and one nephew.

Marcus is survived by his father, William, and a sister, Marjorie Reagle, both of Enid, and a brother, Mike Carter of Norman.
