Mass of Christian Burial for Betty F. Butts, 77, will be 10 AM Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. James J. Mickus will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Bible vigil will be 7 PM today at Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born May 25, 1923, in Enid to William Collins and Iva Fern Benson Reed and died Monday, July 10, 2000, at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital.

She graduated from Enid High School. On June 7, 1942, she married James A. Butts. She was active in Altar Society and Prayer Line at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and was a volunteer at Enid Regional Hospital.

Surviving are one daughter, Betty Ann Butts of Enid; two sons, Eddie of Enid and Johnny of Tulsa; one sister, Beverly Shirk of Enid; one brother, James C. Reed of Mesquite, Nevada; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband in October 1987 and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread.
